Welcome to Smits Farms
Thank you for visiting our site. Smits Farms is a family owned business. It was started in 1990 by Carl Smits and his wife Debbie. Over the last twenty years Smits Farms has grown and experienced many changes. It all began with a single greenhouse, built in 1992. Today, Smits Farms has thirteen greenhouses and will continue to expand in the coming years!
We are excited to offer you quality bedding plants, perennials, and a variety of fresh herbs and vegetables. You can find us at our home on Sauk Trail or look for us at one of the many Farmer's Markets we attend in the city of Chicago or neighboring communities. Thank you again for visiting our site and we look forward to hearing from you!

By choosing Food Alliance Certified products, consumers and commercial food buyers can be assured they are supporting safe and fair working conditions, humane treatment of animals, and good environmental stewardship.
